North Consulting Engineers Pty Ltd (NorthCE) is a multidiscipline consulting engineering practice, providing a range of engineering design, auditing, reporting and consulting services across all building sectors.
NorthCE utilises our consultants’ knowledge and experience, to deliver a bespoke service specific to each individual client and their respective needs. Our key consultants are technical, while also practical in their approach to problem solving and designing solutions.

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING (BIM) & COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMIC MODELLING (CFD)
NorthCE has extensive experience with modelling, designing and coordinating projects using BIM packages including Revit Building Services and Structures. BIM assists with the coordination of complex services and structures on projects. Workshop drawings, fabrication drawings, schedules of materials and eventual as-installed drawings can be provisioned through contractor use of the model.
Complex static and transient airflow, heat patterns and air velocity in buildings can be modelled with the use of CFD software. Analysis of the modelled behaviour of the room conditions can assist with better designing the terminal diffusion of air, distribution of heat and overall space comfort.
